Legendary sportscaster George Michael passes away
George Michael, sportscaster and mastermind behind the popular NBC sports show "George Michael Sports Machine" has died at the age of 70. His cause of death is said to be complications from a form of leukemia that the sportscaster was suffering from.
"George Michael Sports Machine" originally aired in 1984 and was in syndication until around 2007. He retired in 2007. Prior to the national show, he had a local show called "George Michael Sports Final" which began in 1980.
